Poisela is a considered Australian index for professional aesthetic and cosmetic care, built around real Practice Locations and the practitioners who work within them — represented clearly, separately and with enough context to actually be useful. The idea is not to catalogue everything. It is to make the right parts of the market easier to understand.

Poisela is selective by design. We include practices we believe can be represented accurately, clearly and responsibly within the index. Inclusion is not automatic, and the goal is not to become the biggest directory possible.
A smaller, better-kept index is more useful than a very large one nobody quite trusts.

Commercial relationships sit outside the decision about who belongs in Poisela. A practice cannot pay for admission, a better position in organic results or preferential treatment within the catalogue. Selection comes first. Payment, where it exists, is for additional business capability — not status.

Every accepted Practice Location can have a complete Poisela Standard presence for $0 forever, while continuing standards are met. Standard is not a deliberately limited free listing; it is the proper core product.
A Standard profile can bring together the Location, its offering, current team, approved imagery, practical information and official destinations in one structured public presence. Once provider-managed, the practice keeps its material information current.

A practice is more than a name, address and phone number. A good profile should give someone a feel for the actual place before they leave Poisela.

The people inside a practice should not disappear into the practice itself. A practitioner has one persistent Poisela identity that can connect to the different eligible Locations where they practise. If they move, add another Location or leave one, the practitioner does not become a different person in the index. The practice can show its current team. The practitioner keeps their own profile.
Practitioners never pay.

Poisela shows both sides properly. A consumer can understand the Practice Location as a place, then move naturally into the profiles of the people associated with it; someone may also find a practitioner first, then see the Locations where that practitioner currently works. Neither has to be flattened into the other.

A polished profile is only useful if the facts continue to reflect the practice. Once a Location is claimed and managed, the practice keeps its material information up to date. Poisela provides the structure and continues to govern catalogue admission, taxonomy, moderation and publication.
You keep the practice current. Poisela keeps the index consistent.

Poisela deliberately separates the core index from the things a business may choose to pay for.
Commercial capability begins only after that foundation is already there.

Insider is the optional business layer built on top of an already complete Standard presence. It is not how a practice becomes more legitimate, more complete or more visible in organic discovery.
Current designed capabilities are Booking Link, Poisela Insights and Credential Check. The private Insider community — Coming soon may preview useful peer exchange, selected sessions, practical briefings and industry relationships without implying a current entitlement or launch date.
Insider adds capability. It never buys preference.
